Mr. George Roukas is a senior executive with in-depth experience in product management, technology and general management. He is skilled at defining, developing and launching global products and product lines and has extensive knowledge of technology enabled products and software. George is adept at working with both start-up organizations and large established organizations.

George was formerly Group Vice President of Product Management for Travelport, a multi-billion dollar travel distribution company. In this role, he led the strategy, development and management for all products facing Galileo’s North American agency partners.

Prior to Travelport, George held the role of Vice President of Product Management and Strategy for Cendant Travel Distribution Services’ Supplier Services group. In this role, George was responsible for the global suite of supplier solutions as well as coordinating all cross-business unit projects involving supplier products. While in this role George also served as General Manager for Trust International and Wizcom, both premier hospitality distribution companies.

Prior to joining Cendant Travel Distribution Services, George worked through PhoCusWright as a consultant to several well-known travel companies, primarily in the area of web site usability for e-commerce. In this capacity, he provided guidance and consultation on web site design, business planning, financial modeling, marketing, technology and development.
George’s 20 plus years of experience in product management, technology and travel related solutions also include employment with companies such as American Express, The Colgate-Palmolive Company, and Biztravel.com. In addition, he has nearly a decade of experience working with several travel-related Internet companies, creating products that received numerous awards from both the technology and travel industries.

George holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Montclair University and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
